We have been alerted to the police, our secrets may be found out if nothing is done. I have advised our allies in the north to be on thier toes. We need to over throw the king no matter what they think!

Merle walked down the hallway of the Rebel base disguised as an office building, his long dark robe trailing behind him. About fifteen feet later he reached the door, "Mei hu's Office" Normally he would never go near the the person who was behind that door, let alone inside her 'lair' as she called it. But he needed to talk to her about the matters at hand. He turned the nob with his fingertips and steped in.
"E-e-excuse m-me, M-m-miss M-M-Mei?" He stuttered to the figure inside.

Mei Looked up from writing little Notes on her paper and got up "And what do you want Merle ?"She asked with a trickster smirk on her face "Why so Chitty today? You seem uncomfortable, Please sit "She said as she sat back down , crossed her legs and linked her hands together on the desk infront of her

Merle blushed under his mask and sat down, his eyes still stuck to the floor. The strange thing is that Merle only stuttered when Mei was around. Usually when he talked, he spoke clearly. "I-I Recieved S-some news... W-we have been a-alerted to the p-p-p-police." He braced himself for the yelling.

Mei Shrugged and then made a snickering laugh "Oh Wonderful, I Guess its war now hm?"She said with a little smirk, and then sat on top of her desk looking at him and patting his head "thank you Merle , your a great help" she said still with a smirk. and then crossed her legs again and tapped the side of his mask " you gotta learn to stop Stuttering , these days its gonna be hard to understand you."She joked

Unfortunately due to the tapping Merle's mask. It falls of, revealing his blushing face. He looked away trying to find his mask. After a few moments he turned to Mei, his red face sweating. "I-I-I-I-I..."

Mei giggled and then picked up his mask from behind her back "Aw, Now don`t you just look so cute , blushing ,and cuteness!" She said making a playful pouting lip. and then looked at him closely " I-I-I-I..what Merle?" she said looking straight in the eyes

Merle looked down, his hands trembling, trying to find a way to talk. I mean "Cute?" now whats going on? "I-I... I'm sorry for wasting your t-time." He looked around one last time for his mask. Failing he turned back to Mei once More. Without his mask usually girls acted different, why was it that it had no effect on the girl?

"your charming looks don`t work on me dear."She said with a smirk as she showed him his masked and then snickered" wasting my time? Your not even wasting a second of my time. I was terribly bored you know? until you brought me such great news "She said patting his head "No need to be sorry"

As contact was made once again the last of his blood rushed to his head and he fell off the chair, unconscious. With a thud a very quiet "She touched me..." is heard. His nose began to bleed, draining the excess blood.

"Heyy your bleeding all over my floor!" She said as she stood up and helped him up "Come on.. Lets take you over to the heath room no?"she suggested looking down at the blood on the floor " Lovley i gotta clean that up later."she said with a snicker

"Uhn." Was all that Merle could muster. Half conscious, he thought about why this was happening, a medical condition? No that was too strange. A curse? No... Of couse... A crush... This was going to make working for his new boss incredibly hard.

Mei Gently slapped him in the face a couple times and sat him down in her chair" Come on , Wake upp.."She said lookin at him, how strange this guy is..

Merle opened his eyes slightly and looked at Mei. His messy dark blond hair revealed due to the hood of the robe dropping off his head.
"Uhm..." He looked at her, afraid to look away. "I-I should a-a-attend to my duties..."
A few voices behind the door laughed at the word duties. Indicating some eavesdroppers.

Mei Looked back at him and then got up, she walked to the door and knocked on it "If i open this door and any of you bastards are there, i will make your head into a volley ball."She said coldly and jokingly. Mei Winked at Merle meaning she was only joking and then put her ear to the door "im gonna count to three....1......2...."

A clambering is heard and Merle gulps, Whats going on? He thought.
"Um..." He almost said but closed his mouth before something stupid came out.

Mei Looked at him "what is it Merle? Are you still dizzy or something?"she asked looking at him

Merle shook his head. "N-n-no..." He gulped, "I guess I-I-I Should g-g-get back to work."

Lenne was sat not far away from Mei and Merle, she had her head down leaving her blonde hair dangling there, she sighed and looked up to see Merle, not recognising him, her attack anything mode was put on high, rushing over she stopped not too far from them.
"Who's this?" she asked while tilting her head, her eyes examining him quickly incase anything was to happen.
